The clinical coordinator is a licensed position which will provide expertise in mental health and human development related services, serving as the clinical lead and supervisor of the clinical department that serves students who are in an/several education/campus life cohort(s) – i.e. founders, skills and achievement, and/or elementary. They will evaluate treatment progress, conduct assessments, provide consultation and counseling, as well as design and develop treatment plans, support and interventions that meet the individualized needs of students. They will coordinate progress reports, manage crises, behavioral and family therapy and visitation protocols. Additionally, they will maintain key relationships and collaborate as needed and required with students, their families and all levels of staff at the Shrub Oak International School to ensure that the individualized needs of each student are met. Having access to confidential information, discretion and independent judgement is required.

Must be able to think analytically, critically, assessing a variety of information to make complex judgements on student situations, outcomes, Shrub Oak policies and protocol.

Physical Demands
Workday regularly includes multiple or conflicting demands, deadlines and time pressures; work regularly requires sustained concentration. Sitting at a desk, walking up and down stairs (building has 6 floors), around a hilly campus as needed, may also require walking between floors or between buildings at a moment’s notice.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a 12-month full time position. Full time staff work a traditional 40-hour work week. Demands of the job may require work outside these hours and on weekends as needed and required.
